PIK2 will built Islamic Financial District
The integrated Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 residential area plans to build an Islamic Financial District covering 11.5 hectares.
Islamic Financial District is located in the Office Distric area of 23.5 Hectares. This complex will be combined with mixed-use buildings, beautiful city parks, fortune plaza, and convenient pedestrian area. The area is developed as the first compact office park in Indonesia.
Construction of the Islamic Financial District area is in line with the government's commitment to work on Islamic economic potential, where the President targets Indonesia to be number 1 for the world Islamic Finance in 2025. In the development of the area, the developer collaborated with a leading investment and property company in Malaysia, Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad. This collaboration is marked by the signing of "Islamic Financial District Development" agreement on Monday, May 14 2018 at the Grand Ballroom PIKAvenue.
The presence of Islamic Financial District is expected to be the answer of sharia economics challenge which lie in important sectors such as trade. This will absorb massive amount of labor and encourage sustainable economic development.
PIK2 Seyu Indo City itself is a collaborative masterpiece project between Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group. Located in the north of Jakarta, PIK2 is a further development of the Pantai Indah Kapuk 1 area that has already become the most prestigious area in Jakarta, with a total area of 3000ha.
Access to PIK2 is easy because it is supported by toll access, interchange, and the location is near to Soekarno Hatta Airport which is only 7 minutes away, making PIK 2 the most popular property in Indonesia today. Phase 1 sales of PIK2 covering an area of 1000ha have been started since 2016, and now within 2 years it has successfully marketed around 70% of the area.
Phase 1 of PIK 2 consists of Residential areas, Shopping Arcade, Food Street Shophouse, Commercial Areas, Apartments and offices equipped with public facilities such as education, health and recreational. All those facilities are integrated with a green belt covering 60 hectares which is designed to be synergized between urban forests and urban lifestyle. For the next 2000 hectares development, Edu City will be built as the education center, schools and dormitories; Harbor City with General Port where cruise ships will rely on PIK2; Business Hub; Canal City with Eco Park in the middle, also equipped with an industrial and logistics center. This will support business, residential and tourism activities in PIK 2.
One of the features of PIK 2 is the marina and 4KM white sand beach with a direct view of the north coast of Jakarta which will later become a tourist destination with the existence of beach club, waterpark and beach plaza. There will be a 7.8 hectare lake in the middle of CBD which is a water-retention, not only as an area balancer, but also aestheticly designed complete with water fountain games, lights and soundsystem equivalent to Dubai Downtown or Las Vegas. The mall will be connected to the LRT which carries the TOD, making it easier for residents and visitors to do city tour and check-in to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
