The Shariah Tower Ground Breaking

PIK2 Sedayu Indo City is a mega project collaboration between Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group with the size area of more than 2,650 Ha. Consist of residential area, apartment, commercial, shophouse, offices, equipped with educational, health, recreational, fitness, and social facilities.

Moreover, PIK2 planned to have an Islamic Financial Center located 23.5 ha that will be divided into 2 areas.

Working together with Matrix Concepts Holding Berhad (Malaysia) dan PT. Nikko Sekuritas Indonesia (Joint Venture Jepang), PIK2 has signed MoU for Islamic Financial Center on 14 May 2018. With the financial support from AIIB, this financial instrastructure project will be finished within less than 10 years, with a total of 45 buildings valued at Rp 70 Trillions (US$ 5 Billions).

The first phase of development is The Shariah Tower, where the premiere cutting off held on Sunday, 8 December 2019, and expected to finish within 20 months of development period with a value of Rp 3.4 Trillions. The Shariah Tower will have around 5,000 workers capacity in the first phase, and overall will be able to accomodate 20,000 workers.

Supported by stakeholder such as KNKS (Komite Nasional Keungan Syariah), MES (Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah), and IAEI (Ikatan Ahli Ekonomi Islam Indonesia). Thus, the dream of becoming world players in International Shariah Financial will be achieved in no time. Jakarta (Indonesia) will be counted in the map of Shariah Financial World, other than Riyadh, Dubai, Bahrain,Doha, Teheran, Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur.
